How to change proportion.




This piece of work is a collaboration between tutor groups to produce an enlarged image of the painting "Tiger, Storm in a Forest"

WALT             Learn how to scale an image

WILF               Level 4   Quality of drawing.
                         Level 5   Ability to change proportion.
                         Level 6   Add tone to the above.



The photocopy of the painting of the Tiger was divided up into 24 equal squares and each of you were given a square.







You had to then copy your section of the painting onto A4 (in so doing enlarging the section).


You divided your A4 sheet into quarters and estimated which parts of the section you had fits into each quarter.






By doing this you are learning how to change the size in proportion to the original.
